“Joker: Folie à Deux”, Lady Gaga è Harley Quinn in una prima immagine del film.

Joker 2 diventa sempre più concreto: dopo l’annuncio del titolo, Joker: Folie à Deux,
che sarebbe stato un film musical e l’entrata nel cast di Lady Gaga nel ruolo di
Harley Quinn, arriva ora la prima foto della cantante accanto a Joaquin Phoenix. La
foto mostra i due performer in procinto di darsi quello che sembra un bacio

emozionato, col rossetto del Joker leggermente sbavato e un’espressione sorpresa
sul volto della cantante col sangue che le cola dal naso.
Forte è la curiosità dei fan in merito a Joker: Folie à Deux, ancor di più da quando è
stata annunciata la presenza di Harley Quinn con le fattezze di Lady Gaga. Iconica
popstar e sempre più presente nel panorama cinematografico, Lady Gaga ha
finalmente mostrato la sua versione del personaggio DC in un nuovo scatto del film
condiviso dal regista Todd Phillips sul suo profilo Instagram.
Ma cosa sappiamo di Joker 2?
Intanto che questo sequel, così come il film precedente, non fa parte del resto
del DC Extended Universe, l’Universo del regista e sceneggiatore James Gunn e il
produttore Peter Safran, che hanno preso in mano la direzione dei progetti di
Warner Bros legati ai supereroi DC. I due hanno comunicato chiaramente che sia i
film con Joaquin Phoenix sia il The Batman con protagonista Robert Pattinson sono
opere a sé stanti.
Per quanto riguarda il titolo invece sappiamo che “Folie à Deux”, che in francese
significa “Follia a due”, è un riferimento ad un disturbo psicologico definito anche
follia contagiosa o follia infettiva che coinvolge due individui (l’induttore e il
sottomesso)., un chiaro riferimento alla relazione “malata” che unisce Joker e Harley
Quinn. Per quanto riguarda la colonna sonora invece, ultimissime indiscrezioni
affermano che quest’ultima sarà “fortemente ispirata” ai classici musical di Liza
Minnelli come Cabaret, New York, New York e C’era una volta Hollywood.
Le riprese sono partite ufficialmente a dicembre 2022 e sono tutt’ora in corso e
dureranno ancora qualche mese come sostiene ScreenRant. Il film, però, è previsto
per il 4 ottobre 2024, esattamente cinque anni dopo il primo capitolo.
