Una realtà impensabile, un’atmosfera travolgente di tensione e angoscia colpisce gli spettatori de “L’amica geniale” (tratta dal libro di Elena Ferrante “Storia di chi fugge e di chi resta”) tornata in onda su Rai 1.
In un cast di impeccabili attori, l’attenzione si concentra sulle protagoniste: Elena Greco (Margherita Mazzucco) e Raffaella Cerullo (Gaia Girace). Entrambe cresciute in un Rione di Napoli e ormai madri.
La trama verte intorno alla loro amicizia. Il loro rapporto sarà sempre quello di Odio e Amore, di invidia, di simbiosi, di protezione e competizione.
Sono due donne completamente diverse, ma complementari: Lenù è timida, accondiscendente, di poche parole; Lila è esuberante, suscettibile, testarda, e coraggiosa.
Lenù fidandosi ciecamente del giudizio dell’amica, cerca sempre una sua approvazione per qualunque cosa faccia.
Il programma inscena eventi che non dovrebbero essere dimenticati o considerati del tutto frutto di un’altra epoca.
Delle tre stagioni fin ora prodotte, l’ultima, ambientata negli anni ‘70, mette maggiormente in evidenza i cambiamenti politici e sociali della società, le rivolte, le lotte per i diritti e la libertà,le minoranze…
Il punto di vista sul quale ci si concentra maggiormente è quello della classe operaia e delle donne.
Non tutti in quegli anni potevano permettersi un’istruzione. Studiare equivaleva ad una perdita di tempo. I genitori preferivano che i figli imparassero velocemente il mestiere, considerato l’unico modo, anche se poco dignitoso, per vivere.
La testimonianza di Lila mostra quanto dura e cruda fosse la realtà lavorativa e la lotta per poterla migliorare.
Lo spettatore, coinvolto e trasportato dalle vicende, sembra condividere con i personaggi, le difficoltà, le gioie, le amicizie e i divertimenti che oggi diamo per scontato, ma che un tempo, rappresentavano una via di fuga dalla realtà in cui si era costretti a vivere. Una passeggiata in riva al mare, un fuggifuggi dal proprio quartiere, possono regalare momenti felici ed indimenticabili.
