Nei primi di agosto è stato inaugurato nel borgo di Castelsaraceno in Basilicata il ponte tibetano più lungo del mondo. Misura 586 metri in lunghezza ed 80 in altezza. Vi sono volute circa 24 tonnellate di acciaio e 1.160 traversine calpestabili, situate ognuna a 20 centimetri dall’altra, per poterlo definitivamente completare. La città è un centro di cultura millenario, che conserva le testimonianze dei primi insediamenti saraceni del 1031. In più da quell’altezza si potrà ammirare con più attenzione lo scenario naturale dell’Appennino Lucano. Non a caso il borgo ha una forma che rimanda a quella di un cuore: impossibile non emozionarsi dinanzi a cotanta grandezza ed impallidire al confronto dell’essere umano con la natura.
Il Comune ne approfitta per rimettere a nuovo il sito web per fornire ai turisti tutte le informazioni di cui hanno bisogno, anche quelle più tecniche, come spessore dei cavi e dati ufficiali. In più sarà possibile acquistare i ticket online ed effettuare un check-in digitale. Per quanto riguarda i prezzi, la passeggiata costa sui 15/20 euro a persona. Sconsigliato a chi soffre di vertigini!
