Il Certamen Carolinum “Francesca Meletti”, competizione di traduzione dal greco o dal latino, ha coinvolto più di 60 ragazzi di scuole diverse. L’obiettivo di questa competizione è mettere in evidenza le capacità degli alunni nelle lingue e nella cultura classica. Nonostante la difficoltà della didattica a distanza, i partecipanti sono riusciti a cimentarsi in versioni complesse, dalle opere di Platone, Seneca, e Cicerone.
Le premiazioni del Certamen Carolinum, si sono svolte il 29 maggio, in una videoconferenza promossa dal liceo Muratori-San Carlo di Modena. Gli alunni sono stati premiati con tre premi per ogni categoria, due menzioni d’onore, e un premio Dante Alighieri per la miglior resa in italiano.
Tra le prime tre finaliste è presente anche Fabiana Rinaldi, studentessa del Liceo Quinto Orazio Flacco di Portici, la quale considera questa competizione come una grande esperienza formativa.
Ecco il suo commento: “ All’inizio l’ho presa un po’ come una sfida, mi sono impegnata, mi è piaciuto mettermi in gioco, e sono molto soddisfatta di aver raggiunto questo traguardo nonostante non me lo aspettassi. Sono stata onorata di partecipare a questo tipo di gara, non solo per la portata di questa esperienza, ma anche per la commemorazione che si celebra dietro questa gara ovvero la scomparsa di una ragazza che studiava al liceo di Modena, e sono stata molto grata di parteciparvi e dare il mio contributo.”
Molti complimenti alla Preside del liceo Quinto Orazio Flacco di Portici, la DS Prof.ssa Iolanda Giovidelli, per aver dato tale opportunità alla scuola, e alla professoressa Menichelli ,referente per le eccellenze del dipartimento di latino e greco triennio.
