La misura introdotta dal governo Renzi, la quale era già stata inserita all’interno della legge di Bilancio 2021 dal Conte II, è stata annunciata dal Ministero della Cultura e rinominata 18app.
Chi ha intenzione di beneficiare del bonus dovrà registrarsi alla piattaforma dedicata entro e non oltre il 31 agosto, utilizzando lo Spid. L’importo è spendibile attraverso buoni spesa nominativi fornendo il buono stampato o in formato pdf alla cassa degli store fisici, o inserendo un codice alfanumerico per gli acquisti online. La somma sarà accessibile fino al 28 febbraio 2022.
Con il Bonus è possibile spendere per acquistare libri, biglietti per eventi culturali, ingresso a musei, rappresentazioni teatrali e cinematografiche, cd e vinili, prodotti per l’editoria audiovisiva, cancelleria, corsi di musica, teatro o lingua straniera e a partire da quest’anno, abbonamenti a giornali periodici, online o cartacei. Diverse sono le piattaforme online che permettono di utilizzare il bonus per gli acquisti, tra cui Amazon, Mondadori, Feltrinelli, Spotify, Ticketmaster, Alpha Test e molti altri. È importate sottolineare che non è possibile acquistare lo stesso prodotto due volte.
Il Ministro della Cultura Dario Franceschini ha dichiarato: “Il bonus cultura per i diciottenni è un’iniziativa di successo e un investimento importante che in questi anni ha visto crescere sia il volume dei giovani iscritti, arrivati a quasi 1,6 milioni, sia i fondi spesi che hanno superato i 730 milioni di euro. Risorse significative tanto più in questo momento di emergenza”. Lo stesso Franceschini si è ritrovato a scambiare tweet con il celebre scrittore Stephen King, il quale si è complimentato con il nostro Paese per aver istituito il Bonus Cultura. “Questa è un’idea da Paese civilizzato!”, ha affermato lo scrittore.
