E’ datata 25 febbraio 2021 la presentazione della nuova Ducati Pramac. L’evento viene proposto in diretta sulla piattaforma tv Sky, al canale 208 (Sky Sport MotoGP). La presentazione di moto e team del motomondiale 2021 procede e questa volta tocca al secondo team per importanza della Ducati. Infatti, l’ ufficiale e la terza del team spagnolo Esponsorama sono già state presentate. Il principale team satellite della moto di Borgo Panigale è italiano come la casa madre: precisamente ha sede a Casole D’Elsa in Toscana. Nato nel 2002 come supporto a Honda, dal 2005 collabora con Ducati e contribuisce a rendere il marchio italiano un’eccellenza mondiale. Molti talenti sono nati con Pramac: Andrea Iannone e Danilo Petrucci, anche grazie a dirigenti di altissimo livello come Carlo Pernat. I due piloti della stagione precedente, Jack Miller e Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia, quest’anno passano alla scuderia ufficiale e verranno rimpiazzati dalla coppia inedita composta da Johann Zarco e Jorge Martin. Il primo, francese classe 1990, due volte campione del mondo di Moto2, in MotoGP dal 2017 e grande promessa, fino ad ora non ha ripagato le aspettative. Il secondo, giovane talento spagnolo classe 1998, campione del mondo del 2018 in Moto3, debutta in classe regina, è una delle grandi scoperte del celebre dirigente Fausto Gresini, scomparso di recente dopo aver contratto il Covid.
Manca solo la scoperta di livrea e lo stile della moto, solitamente colore bianco-rosso, ed è tutto pronto per la stagione che partirà il 28 marzo in Qatar.
